A rigid inflatable boat (RIB) is a compact motorboat with a sturdy hull and inflatable cylinders, divided into sections and located along the upper edge of the side. Thanks to its rigid fiberglass hull, the five-person boat surpasses standard inflatable boats in strength and running characteristics.
