The Parsun F13.5A BMS outboard motor is a modern solution for owners of small watercraft, combining reliability, good power and ease of operation. It is suitable for use on inflatable boats, as well as on aluminum or plastic boats, and can also serve as an auxiliary engine for larger vessels.
Key parameters
The Parsun gasoline outboard motor is equipped with a four-stroke two-cylinder engine. The cylinder diameter is 63 mm, the piston stroke is 58.1 mm. The power reaches 13.5 horsepower, which allows you to confidently go on a planing with a light or medium boat. The speed is regulated in the range from 4500 to 5500 rpm. The ignition system is digital (CDI), which contributes to stable start-up and operation. The start is carried out manually, the control is by tiller. The gear ratio is 2.08:1. The engine is water-cooled, and the carburetor fuel supply system is powered by an external tank with a capacity of 24 liters. The volume of oil in the crankcase is 1 liter, in the gearbox - 0.25 liters. Unleaded AI-92/95 gasoline is used, SAE 10W30 or 10W40 engine oil is recommended. Spark plug — NGK DPR7EA-9.
Construction and materials
The hull is made of special marine aluminum, resistant to corrosion, which allows it to be used in both fresh and salt water. The propeller is aluminum, three-blade, with a standard size of 9-1/4×11''. The exhaust is discharged through the propeller hub, which reduces noise and vibration. The design of the outboard motor provides for manual lifting with the possibility of operation in shallow water mode. Fastening is carried out through a strong transom clamp, which ensures reliable installation.
Management and operation
The tiller has a comfortable rubberized handle with an adjustable throttle. The control is intuitive, the three-position box allows you to easily switch between forward, neutral and reverse. The built-in generator provides power to the electrical equipment and charges the battery. The ability to operate in shallow water mode makes it versatile for various water conditions. The lift is adjusted manually, which simplifies its operation and maintenance.
Dimensions and weight
The dimensions of the gasoline outboard motor are approximately 107 × 99 × 42 cm, while the weight is about 52 kg, which makes it quite mobile for independent installation and transportation. The deadwood length is 381 mm, which corresponds to a standard short transom (Short Shaft). Thanks to optimal weight distribution and compact dimensions, installation and dismantling do not require special effort.
