Parsun T40FWL-T is a modern 2-stroke engine, designed to meet the highest requirements for reliability and efficiency on the water. All about possibilities

The Parsun outboard motor is equipped with a long deadwood (type "L"), designed for installation on a transom with a height of 50.8 cm. A similar height is typical for light sea vessels with a raised stern and a small draft, as well as for fish with a high carrying capacity and cylinders with a diameter of 50 cm and above.

When going out to plan on open water, the long deadwood ensures stable propeller immersion, preventing cavitation and increasing the overall performance of the powerplant.

The power is more than enough to launch medium and large boats onto the speedboat. The unit also copes with towing water skiers, inflatable rides and other water entertainment. This is a good choice for active recreation in spacious and deep water areas.

The kit includes an external fuel tank with a volume of 24 liters, equipped with a hose and a pumping bulb. Thanks to the connector, it is possible to quickly replace the standard capacity with an alternative one - depending on the expected duration of the voyage. Despite its decent power, the outboard gasoline engine consumes fuel economically - at maximum speed only about 14 liters per hour. This makes it an excellent solution for long sea routes.

The basic equipment also includes a single-phase 12V (6A) generator with a stabilizer-rectifier. It allows you to charge the battery, to which you can connect both navigation equipment and your own electronics.

The convenience of operation is complemented by the remote control - a compact and intuitive device that allows you to control the main functions directly from the bow of the vessel.

Construction and materials

The frame and external panels of the case are made of light and durable aluminum alloy with anti-corrosion coating, which significantly increases the service life of the device in an aggressive marine environment. The case is protected from mechanical damage and salt water, the fasteners are made of stainless steel. The weight is about 79 kg, which is considered optimal for models of such power, providing a balance between mass and mobility.
