Parsun T40FWS is a universal 2-stroke gasoline outboard engine for small vessels with a capacity of 40 horsepower. This model is optimally balanced in characteristics, which makes it suitable for a wide range of tasks - from fishing to active recreation and hiking. Cylinder capacity - 703 cm³, maximum speed - 4500-5500 rpm. Weight - about 74 kg, which makes the model light enough for transportation without compromising power and reliability.

Design and reliability

Accurate ignition the first time. The power plant is equipped with a modern digital CDI system, which ensures a stable supply of spark with the right power at the right time, regardless of the outside temperature and current operating conditions. Thanks to this, the unit starts confidently even in cold weather without unnecessary effort.

The CDI system is one of the factors that ensure smooth and reliable operation of the unit at all speeds. The boat quickly reaches the speedboat, and the control remains predictable and comfortable even in difficult weather conditions.

Two ways to start. The outboard motor supports both electric and manual starting - with a convenient handle for emergencies, such as a dead battery. The enlarged flywheel contributes to an easy start, often on the first pull.

Convenient remote control. The compact remote controller allows you to keep all the main functions under control: starting, suction control, gear shifting (forward, neutral, reverse), speed control - including the ability to fine-tune idle speed. There is also an emergency shutdown button (the safety cord from the kit is attached to it), and the speed lock function will be useful for long transitions. The remote control provides electric trim control - an additional option, which we will talk about below.

Quiet operation. The low noise level makes the Parsun engine particularly attractive to fish and particularly attractive to fish in the water.

Minimum vibration. To increase comfort, the Chinese manufacturer has provided for the installation of shock-absorbing rubber bands in the mounting points, where vibration from moving parts could be transmitted to the installation body and the boat itself.
