Parsun T9.8BMS is a two-stroke gasoline outboard engine that combines compactness, high performance and low weight, which makes it an excellent choice for a variety of tasks: from walking and fishing to transporting goods and towing water attractions. Thanks to the power of 9.8 hp, the unit easily launches an average vessel about 3.5 meters long with a crew and equipment onto a speedboat. At the same time, the installation is not subject to mandatory state registration, which greatly simplifies its use.

Easy to install and compatible with various boat types

The model is designed for a wide range of use on small and medium-sized vessels. Equipped with a deadwood for a standard transom height (381 mm) and is attached using simple mounting clamps. The device is excellent for operation on PVC boats, aluminum, plastic and RIB boats. It can also be used as an auxiliary engine on small boats. Due to its weight of only 26 kg and modest dimensions (992×520×336 mm), the motor is easily transported and installed manually, even without the help of a partner.

For safety, the Parsun T9.8BMS has a safety catch with a carabiner: if you fall overboard, the outboard motor automatically shuts off. The device is equipped with a three-speed transmission (forward, neutral, reverse), which simplifies maneuvering and allows you to start the engine only in neutral, protecting against premature wear.

Thermostatic cooling and holding system

For stable operation, a water cooling system with a thermostat that controls the water flow depending on the temperature is provided. This eliminates both overheating and overcooling, preserving the working resource and productivity of the unit. In addition, manual trim adjustment is implemented with the ability to choose from five angles of inclination, allowing you to adjust the optimal installation angle for maximum movement efficiency.

Additional technical advantages

For ease of overcoming shallow water or obstacles, a deadwood lifting mechanism with automatic fixation in one of five positions is provided. This solution is also useful during long-term parking, reducing the risk of corrosion and contamination of the cooling system. The exhaust system is led out through the propeller hub - this reduces noise and increases thrust efficiency. Additionally, the shaft is equipped with a damping sleeve that protects the transmission from shock loads when colliding with obstacles. The housing and starter are made of marine aluminum with an anti-corrosion coating, and the cooling channels are additionally protected by a zinc layer and anodic protection.
