The KM-270DXL transport awning is made of lightweight, waterproof fabric and is easily fixed with a drawstring. The Kolibri boat transport awning prevents dirt, dust, and precipitation from entering the boat cockpit. The boat parking awning also protects the boat from ultraviolet rays during transportation and storage.
The awning is also designed for transporting and storing the boat in an inflated state. The awning is made of lightweight, durable and waterproof awning fabric. The tightening lacing around the perimeter of the parking awning provides quick and convenient fixation on the motor boat. The transport awning is designed for Kolibri motor boats, but can also be used on inflatable boats of other manufacturers with similar dimensions.
How to assemble a boat transport awning:
- spread the awning material over the inflated motorboat, with the bow of the awning being the part where the hole for the transport handle is provided;
- we combine the opening of the awning with the nose handle. The handle will be an additional retainer;
- After that, we spread the awning over the entire top and side surface of the boat. The top and sides of the boat should be completely covered;
- we tighten the rubber expander in a circle, tightening the cord on the metal hooks of the expander;
- After tightening the cord, we hook the cord hook onto the eyelet on the awning, while going around the end of the cylinder from below, we do this with two hooks in turn:
- We align the stretched fabric over the surface, check how tight the expander is, make it uniform, and make sure there are no distortions.
The awning provides:
- protection and preservation of the boat during storage, for example in a garage, from dust and dirt, preserves the integrity of the cylinders when in contact with dangerous objects;
- to protect the vessel during transportation on a carriage, trunk or in another way where there is a possibility of damage or contamination of the boat's hull or cylinders;
- preservation and secrecy of contents, for example, in nature, where there is a need to seal the cockpit of an equipped vessel with things from short-term precipitation or close it from unnecessary views.
