Design features
Compact dimensions and balanced architecture ensure ease of transportation and installation. A durable metal housing and reliable multilayer coating protect the unit from corrosion. The engine cover is made of durable plastic and is fixed with a convenient latch - it will not open while driving, even on waves.
The CDI ignition system requires no external power and has no moving parts. This ensures a stable spark and high reliability of the outboard motor
Management and operation
The tiller is operated using a 40 cm long tiller. It is equipped with an ergonomic rubberized handle that lies comfortably in the hand, even with gloves or in high humidity. The throttle is adjusted by turning the handle, and the degree of effort is adjusted using a built-in eccentric.
For safety, there is an emergency stop button with a tag that is attached to the operator's clothing. In the event of a person accidentally falling overboard, the engine will automatically stop.
The main panel houses the gearshift lever: “forward”, “neutral” and “reverse”. Starting is possible only in the neutral position, which protects the transmission from wear during starting.
Trim system and shallow water mode
The tilt angle is manually adjustable and has five fixed positions. This allows you to adapt the Parsun outboard motor to specific sailing conditions. There is also a shallow water mode, which makes it easier to navigate areas with limited depth and protects the propeller from damage.
Cooling system and protection
Cooling is carried out by drawing water from the reservoir through special holes under the anti-cavitation plate. A built-in thermostat maintains the operating temperature. The internal channels are galvanized, which prevents destruction by water.
The anti-cavitation plate reduces the likelihood of air entrapment by the propeller, ensuring stable movement and efficient use of thrust.
Propeller
The standard propeller size is 3 x 8 7/8 x 8 1/3, made of marine grade aluminum. It is corrosion resistant and suitable for use in both fresh and salt water. The mounting through a rubber damper allows you to soften impacts against obstacles and reduces the risk of shaft damage.
