Parsun TE5.8BMS is a two-stroke outboard motor with a power of 5.8 hp, which combines lightness, practicality and reliability. It is suitable for installation on small rubber and hull boats, and performs well in fishing, water walking and trolling conditions. The device is part of a line of three models of the 5.8 series and is distinguished by its maximum equipment.

Fuel system
One of the key advantages of the outboard motor is the presence of two fuel tanks - a built-in 2.7 liter tank and a remote 9 liter tank, which is connected via the original connector. This allows you to cover significant distances without refueling. An external tank is included as standard, which is unusual for units in this power class.
Design and control
The steering is carried out using a 40-centimeter tiller with an ergonomic rubberized handle. It combines several functions at once: turning to control movement, changing the fuel supply (gas), as well as placing an emergency stop button and attaching a safety check.
A gasoline outboard boat engine is easily adaptable to specific conditions:
- Deadwood rotates in both directions, with adjustable rotation stiffness.
- A three-way system with five fixed positions is provided.
- The lifting mechanism allows you to pass through shallow water and reduces contact with water during downtime.
Safety and reliability
To protect the user, a safety check is provided - when it is disconnected, the engine stops instantly. In addition, protection against overheating and corrosion is implemented, which is especially important during prolonged operation.
A rubber damper built into the screw mounting assembly reduces the risk of serious damage when hitting obstacles - only the screw is damaged, which is easy to replace.
Cooling system
The Parsun boat motor operates on forced water circulation, the water supply of which is carried out through holes under the anti-cavitation plate. The cooling liquid passes through a special channel and exits in the propeller area, which ensures a stable temperature regime.
Propeller and deadwood
The propeller is made of aluminum and is resistant to water, including salt water. It is mounted on a shaft with a shock-absorbing damper that absorbs shocks.
An anti-cavitation plate is installed on the deadwood, preventing air from entering the working area - this increases thrust efficiency and reduces slippage losses.
