Parsun F20A BMS is one of the most popular models among 20-horsepower outboard motors. It is based on proven Japanese technology (analogous to Yamaha), which guarantees reliability, and Chinese assembly makes it affordable. Moreover, it is an updated and improved version of the Parsun F20BMS, which emphasizes the manufacturer's constant desire to improve its equipment.
The device is suitable not only for inflatable keelboats, but also for aluminum boats up to 4.5 meters long. The main thing is to take into account the height of the transom, which should correspond to the length of the deadwood (381 mm).
Main advantages
The optimal combination of power and weight. At only 52 kg, it provides reliable traction and requires little effort during transport or installation.
Ergonomics and ease of control. All elements are conveniently placed, the tiller is equipped with a relief rubber handle and a speed scale, which simplifies maneuvering and control.
Low noise and vibration levels. The special design of the exhaust system makes work quiet and comfortable.
Economy. Fuel consumption at maximum load is 6.9 l/h. The Parsun F20A BMS comes with an external 24-liter tank, which allows you to travel long distances without refueling.
Safety. An emergency stop button is provided: if the operator falls overboard, the check is pulled out and the unit automatically turns off.
Affordable price. For its price, the outboard motor offers maximum capabilities, favorably different from its counterparts.
Design and management
The body of the gasoline outboard motor is made of durable metal, resistant to water. Installation on the transom is carried out with two reliable clamps.
The start is manual, the starter with a comfortable handle allows you to start it even in cold weather. The CDI ignition system does not require external power and is devoid of moving parts, which increases reliability.
The steering is carried out using a 40 cm long tiller, which allows not only steering, but also adjusting the engine speed. A convenient scale at the base of the handle helps to monitor fuel consumption. There is also a clamp for adjusting the steering sensitivity.
Additional features
Adjustable in three (4 positions). Allows you to adapt the operation of the unit to the driving conditions and type of boat. Improves access to the speedboat, maneuverability and cross-country ability.
Shallow Water Mode. Allows you to raise the propeller and lock it in place to safely navigate shallow areas or dry out at the dock.
Water cooling. The operating temperature is maintained by a thermostat, and the zinc coating of the internal channels protects against corrosion.
Generator with stabilizer. Provides recharging of the on-board battery, useful for additional equipment on the boat.
